Cami PDF Pattern (Smaller Than The Camille) INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
~PLEASE READ BEFORE PUCHASING!!!~
NOTE: This is a measure and cut pattern. The file does NOT include pattern pieces or templates. You will receive one 25 page file that includes helpful notes, a materials list, measure and cut instructions, step-by-step instructions on how to make the bag, numerous photos, templates for punching the rivet holes, a template for the zipper overlay, and a page with labels that can be used for organizing your fabric pieces as they are cut. **See photos for materials list.**
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate Level (An advanced/adventurous beginner with some bagmaking experience can give it a go, but it requires paying close attention to measurements, setting rivets, installing a zipper, making choices about interfacing, and working with non-fraying materials). A beginner might choose to start with the Camille pattern - which is a larger version of the Cami, but with a more simple construction.
FINISHED SIZE: 9.5"W (at base) x 9"H x 3.5"D
BAG DETAILS: This bag is fully lined with a top zipper closure, two front exterior pockets, two interior slip pockets, and one interior zipper pocket.
LEATHER HANDLES & CONNECTORS:
For the handles and connectors, I recommend using leather that is at least 4.5-5oz (1.8mm - 2mm ) thickness. There are many sources for purchasing 1" wide leather strips for the handles. One option is is to purchase the "Genuine Leather Purse Strap, Oil Tan Strip" from Springfield Leather Company on Etsy. You will need at least 72" in total.
