French Skiver 8mm

French skivers can be used for thinning leather. This 8mm skiver is great forgouging or skiving narrow areas such as the seam allowance.  You can also use it to carefully notch out/thin the area where rivets are installed if you find your rivet  is just a bit too short.  This tool can give you just the nudge you need to get the desired leather thickness.
